Amanda Veraldi

Amanda Veraldi

Amanda grew up outside of Philadelphia, but officially became a New Yorker in 2015 after a decade of living in the city. She studied economics at Columbia and now works for J.Crew. Although she doesn't have an academic or professional background in anything food related, she considers herself quite the food enthusiast with a particular passion for fresh ricotta, barbecue brisket, heirloom tomatoes, soft pretzels and pepperoni pizza. She cooks and bakes regularly, but also loves trying new restaurants or re-visiting her favorites (Posto, Caracas, Pisticci, and Upland, to name a few). When she's not eating, Amanda is likely either at the park with her dog (Moose), in bed with a food magazine and her cat (Pico de Gato), or planning an upcoming party, event or trip. She is so excited to be part of the WSCSA core committee!
